Success Stories


WCF SUCCESS STORIES:

  • After 16 years of prayer for the need of our own building, with the initiative of Mrs. Rosella Angel Ridings, Founder/Director of Metro Hope For Kids, USA ,we have constructed the much needed orphanage building in 2021.
  • One girl secured State Highest mark in Alternative English in Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate Examination
  • 2 girls completed Post-graduation one in M.Sc (Geology) while the other in M.A (English)
  • 1 girl has graduated B.Sc (Agriculture) and now she is serving in the State Govt. service ;while another girl has graduated Computer Science and Engineering
  • Two girls have graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Theology; one of them is working with us.
     So far, 21 girls have passed out High School, out of those 15 girls passed in First Divisions while one girl passed in Distinction.
  • A child who was born with club foot  was disowned by his parents. He  was received by the Foundation. With treatment the child got healed. He received  a brand new life and young God-fearing and educated parents. They now live a happy life with their son.
  • 1 girl is doing Bachelor of Divinity and is in her final year (5th. year) at Baptist Theological College, Pfutsero
  • While some are employed, some are preparing for competitive exams and few are on different skill training.
  • More than 90 children had been placed in adoption where issueless couples were helped to fulfilled their dreams to have a child in their homes at the same time parentless children were given substitute permanent parents through legal adoption
  • Mr N Thungdemo Kikon, the Founder of WC, Secy. & Managing Director of the Foundation, was conferred with Rajiv Gandhi Manav Seva Award in 2012 for Dedicated Service to children from the Ministry of Women and Child Development, Govt. of India. The award was received from Shri Pranab Mukerjee the President of the Republic of India.
