Scores once in return Johnson hauled in all three targets for 36 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 49-21 win versus Washington.
Impact Johnson suited up for the first time suffering a shoulder injury versus Michigan in Week 10. The senior, who has been Oregon's WR1 this season, didn't see anywhere close to his usual target share Saturday. But, he still scored his ninth touchdown of the season with a nine-yard scoring pass from quarterback Dillon Gabriel in the third quarter. Johnson didn't come anywhere close to his production from his career-best campaign last year, but he finished the 2024 regular season with 67 catches (on 83 targets) for 685 yards over 10 games. He should continue to serve as the team's top pass-catcher when Oregon faces Penn State in the Big Ten Championship Game this coming Saturday night.

Off injury report Johnson (shoulder) isn't listed on Oregon's injury report ahead of the Ducks' clash with Washington.
Impact Johnson is set to make his return after missing both the Maryland and Wisconsin games consecutively. The star wideout will be a welcome addition for a Ducks' offense that's coming off its worst showing of the season in Madison. Johnson has racked up 64 catches for 649 yards and eight scores this season.

Looks back despite shoulder injury Johnson (shoulder) announced that he is back on his Instagram account, Matt Prehm of 247Sports.com reports.
Impact A shoulder injury prevented Johnson from participating in Oregon's narrow win Saturday at Wisconsin. But now that the wideout is back, perhaps he can rejuvenate what was a relatively anemic offense in Madison. Before his Week 10 injury at Michigan, Johnson saw a run of four consecutive games with at least one touchdown and a total of 30 receptions for 327 yards (10.9 averaged per reception) with the Ducks.

Out in Madison Johnson (shoulder) won't play against Wisconsin on Saturday night, Rob Moseley of Oregon's official site reports.
Impact Johnson will now miss his second straight game. Oregon will need to rely on Evan Stewart, Justius Lowe and Treashon Holden in Madison against the Badgers' secondary.
NOVEMBER 16 • ROTOWIRE
Ruled out Saturday Johnson (shoulder) has been ruled out for Saturday's game versus Maryland, Chris Hansen of The Eugene Register-Guard reports.
Impact Johnson suffered a shoulder injury during last Saturday's win at Michigan. The injury was deemed serious at the time -- putting his status for Saturday's game in serious doubt -- although there is still a chance he is able to return this season. His next chance to play is next Saturday at Wisconsin.

Impact This is definitively good news for Oregon, and Johnson is expected back later this year, meaning he won't have surgery for the time being. Johnson was seen with his arm in a sling after exiting the Michigan contest, and his progress over the upcoming days will determine his availability for the matchup against Maryland on Saturday.

No. 1 Oregon loses top WR and punt returner Tez Johnson to apparent shoulder injury against Michigan

Top-ranked Oregon lost No. 1 receiver and punt returner Tez Johnson with an apparent shoulder injury in the first quarter against Michigan
NOVEMBER 2 • ASSOCIATED PRESS
Done for day Johnson will not return to Saturday's game versus Michigan, per the CBS broadcast.
Impact Johnson suffered a right shoulder injury in the contest with speculation it could be a collarbone issue. More information on his status should surface in the coming days, but it would certainly be a huge blow should the star wideout miss additional time. Evan Stewart and others will need to step up for the Ducks in his absence.

Scores again Week 9 Johnson hauled in six of seven targets for 102 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 38-9 win over Illinois.
Impact Johnson scored for the fifth week in a row, catching a short pass on an in-breaking route before darting around multiple defenders en route to a 31-yard touchdown. The senior wideout also notched his third 100-yard receiving performance this season, and he's now averaged 7.9 receptions (on 9.6 targets) per game this season. The Ducks' WR1 will look to continue to put up consistent numbers during this coming Saturday's road game at Michigan.

Hauls in another TD in Week 8 Johnson reeled in all seven targets for 66 yards and one touchdown during Friday's 35-0 win against Purdue.
Impact Johnson caught his fifth touchdown in the last four games, hauling in a 12-yard pass to put the Ducks up 21-0 early in the second quarter. The 5-foot-11 senior has been the only wideout on the team that's gotten a consistent number of targets this season. This continued with No. 3 wideout Traeshon Holden held out for a non-injury-related issue Friday, as Evan Stewart logged four catches on four targets. Quarterback Dillon Gabriel only attempted 25 passes Friday, and he'll likely be throwing the ball more in what should be a competitive game next week versus Illinois.

Scores 48-yard TD in big win Johnson caught seven of 10 targets for 75 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 32-31 victory over Ohio State.
Impact Johnson took a while to heat up what was a massive outing for Oregon's passing offense, as quarterback Dillon Gabriel logged 341 passing yards. The 5-foot-10 wideout connected with his quarterback for a 48-yard touchdown on a perfectly-placed deep ball late in the second quarter. Johnson also finished with double-digit targets for the third week in a row, though Texas A&M transfer Evan Stewart broke out with seven catches for 149 yards against the Buckeyes. The Ducks' No. 2 wideout Traeshon Holden was also ejected for spitting in the first half, which likely led at least somewhat to Stewart's increased role Saturday. Either way, expect Johnson to continue leading this receiving corps when the Ducks next play at Purdue this coming Saturday.

Logs double-digit targets again Johnson tallied 10 receptions (on 13 targets) for 84 yards and one touchdown during Friday's 31-10 win over Michigan State.
Impact Johnson hauled in his fifth touchdown of the season with a two-yard score in the fourth quarter. The 5-foot-10 senior also tallied a season-high 13 targets, and he's now logged double-digit targets in three of five games this year. He was also the only Ducks receiver to accrue more than five targets Friday night, and he's clearly separated as the team's No. 1 wide receiver over the last three games. He'll likely need to shoulder another significant target when Oregon hosts Ohio State next Saturday in what will be one of the biggest games of Week 7.
