Impact The Milwaukee menace was amazing on all facets or the court in the Golden Eagles' big win, leading his squad in rebounds and assists and being only behind Stevie Mitchell (21) in points. Jones' performance is even more impressive as Marquette didn't just upset Purdue, but beat them by a huge margin and he was the main proponent. The senior guard has been head coach Shaka Smart's go-to guy so far this year, averaging 24 points, 3.8 rebounds, 5.0 assists and 2.0 steals across fives games.

Impact Jones was fully expected to be the leading scorer for Marquette this season, but this type of efficiency -- even against a lesser opponent -- was a welcome surprise that bodes well for his fantasy outlook. He even seems to have a scoring mate in Chase Ross (23 points) to help take some of the pressure off. The next chance for Jones to suit up will be Friday against George Mason.

Impact Jones catalyzed a Marquette offense that outscored Western Kentucky by 25 points in the second half of Friday's victory after trailing by seven entering the break. His three-level scoring was on display, getting into the lane and slashing to the basket in addition to his successful three-point bombing. That being said, the Golden Eagles posted mediocre 13-for-36 shooting from deep as a team, so Jones remaining hot from beyond the arc will be pivotal.
