Another massive double-double Broome accumulated 23 points (9-18 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 3-4 FT), 19 rebounds, five assists and three blocks over 34 minutes during Tuesday's 85-72 win over North Carolina.
Impact It was yet again a stellar performance from Broome, who is making an early case for All-American status. He now has four consecutive double-doubles and has reached 20 points or greater in four of his last five games. The defensive production has been there as well, as Broome has rejected at least a pair of shots in all six of Auburn's games so far this season. The Tigers are now set to face Memphis in the Maui Invitational final on Wednesday.

Another big outing vs. Kent State Broome amassed 18 points (8-12 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 2-3 FT), 12 rebounds, four assists and three blocks across 28 minutes during Wednesday's 79-56 win over Kent State.
Impact Broome is expectedly off to a hot start to the season. The forward has shot an efficient 60 percent from the floor and has double digit points in each of the Tigers' first three games this season. More importantly, perhaps, he's attempted double digit shots in each game as well, displaying that he understands the assertiveness with which he needs to play for Auburn to hit its potential.

Impact It should be no surprise that Broome is entering Auburn's 2024-25 season as its top option, with his preseason backing up such a claim. The redshirt senior is also backed by his previous Auburn seasons, during which he averaged at least more than 14 points, eight rebounds and two blocks both times. Now, the question is if Broome can do enough to establish himself as the SEC's best and win the conference's Player of the Year Award.
