Impact Cryer and the Cougars saw their first tight matchup of the season, and the end result was the fifth-year senior posting his season-best scoring total and leading all scorers in the contest. He did miss a a potential game-winning shot, but the end result was still favorable for fantasy managers who had been waiting for an output like this. Cryer will next take the court Thursday for another Impact Group game against Notre Dame.

Impact Arceneaux was dealing with soreness in his Achilles as a result of the surgery he underwent last December. While it remains to be seen if the soreness is cause for concern, Arceneaux's status for Tuesday's matchup versus Alabama is now up in the air.

Impact Arceneaux saw an extended opportunity for the second-consecutive game, finishing second on the team with 23 minutes during Houston's blowout win over Hofstra. The sophomore guard took advantage of his extra time on the floor, shooting 71.4 percent on seven shots while setting a new career high with four thefts. Arceneaux is capable of producing fantasy-relevant numbers but saw his shortest time on the floor come during Houston's closest game against Auburn, not a good sign for his minutes floor moving forward as the games become more competitive. It appears that it will take in injury for Arceneaux to be able to rise to the fringe of the fantasy radar.

Impact Tugler paved the way off the bench with a perfect night from the floor, needing just 17 minutes to contribute a career-high 17 points. It was the second double-digit scoring effort this season in four games for Tugler, who also added four boards, four assists and a blocked shot during his career night. Tugler played 31 minutes off the bench against Auburn in what has been Houston's closest game, suggesting that more minutes and a potential rise in production could be ahead as the games become more competitive.

Impact Cryer has started all three games at shooting guard this season for the Cougars, but he saw 19 minutes or less in two of those games, each of which were blowouts by 45 or more points. In Houston's lone close game -- a five-point loss to Auburn on Nov. 9 -- Cryer played a season-best 28 minutes and totaled 13 points on 5-of-14 shooting. He's also knocked down seven three-pointers in three games. While it's not necessarily the all-around production fantasy managers had been hoping for from the fifth-year senior, his outlook remains positive for the rest of the year.

The junior also matched a career high with four steals and added five rebounds in just 20 minutes of action. As expected, the Cougars took a big early lead and never looked back which limited the playing time of each starter and allowed them to empty their bench. The 36 minutes Sharp played on Friday against Auburn is more indicative of the time he's expected to see on the floor most nights as he looks to build upon the 12.6 points, 3.5 rebounds and 1.5 steals he averaged last season.

Impact Arceneaux saw extended run off the bench and hoisted up 14 shots while pacing the Cougars with 14 points. The sophomore, who spent the offseason recovering from a Achilles injury suffered last December, was not ultra-efficient with his scoring, including shooting just 2-for-8 from behind the arc but added five rebounds, a couple of assists and a steal across his 24 minutes of court time, doubling the time he played during the team's previous game against Auburn. Arceneaux is playing an important role off the bench for Houston but is much more likely to see 12-15 minutes most nights as opposed to the extra time he saw Wednesday thanks to the uncompetitive nature of the contest.

Mercy Miller - Shows off long-term potential Miller posted 12 points (4-9 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 3-4 FT), two assists and four steals over 21 minutes during Wednesday's 91-45 win over Louisiana.
Impact Miller earned an opportunity to show off his promise and came through with 12 points and four steals. Miller did not play during Houston's tight loss to Auburn on Friday but the blowout nature of this contest allowed the true freshman to receive extended run and he made the most of his chance. It is unlikely Miller sees too many meaningful minutes this season due to the experience and depth that Houston possesses ahead of him but he is a player to keep a watchful eye on and appears to be a big part of the Cougars' long-term future.
