DeMarvion Overshown - Dazzles on first career TD Overshown recorded nine tackles (five solo) and added a 23-yard interception return for a touchdown in a 27-20 win over the Giants on Thanksgiving.
Impact The second-year linebacker made the play of the game in the second quarter, blowing up Devin Singletary on an attempted block and then getting his hand on the ball and tipping it into the air when Drew Lock tried to flick a screen pass to the running back. Overshown ran under the ball and then sprinted to the end zone, giving him his first career INT and TD. After sitting out his entire rookie season due to an ACL tear, Overshown is having a breakout 2024, racking up 84 tackles including 5.0 sacks with three total passes defended, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery in 12 contests.

Jonathan Mingo - Does little with four targets Mingo caught one of four targets for two yards in a 27-20 win over the Giants on Thanksgiving.
Impact The 2023 second-round pick hasn't found any more success so far in Dallas than he'd seen in Carolina. Mingo has received 10 targets in three games since being traded to the Cowboys, but he's caught only two of them for 10 yards. He's at best fifth on the wideout depth chart, competing for snaps with Jalen Brooks and Ryan Flournoy, and there's little reason to expect he'll show up on the fantasy radar over the final weeks of the season.

Ezekiel Elliott - Remains afterthought in offense Elliott gained four yards on his lone carry in a 27-20 win over the Giants on Thanksgiving.
Impact The veteran back saw only nine snaps, his lowest workload of the season, and over the last three games Elliott has managed only 34 scrimmage yards on eight total touches. With Rico Dowdle cementing himself at the top of the backfield depth chart, there isn't much of a path for Elliott to have significant fantasy value.

KaVontae Turpin - Leading receiver on Thanksgiving Turpin caught four of five targets for 53 yards in a 27-20 win over the Giants on Thanksgiving. He added two rushing yards on his lone carry.
Impact With CeeDee Lamb (shoulder) sitting out most of the second half, Turpin wound up leading the Cowboys in receiving yards, although Luke Schoonmaker hauled in one more pass. Turpin's five touches and five targets were his highest totals since Week 6, but with Brandin Cooks now off IR, the third-year player could see his usage on offense dwindle once Lamb is healthy. Turpin will remain Dallas' top kick returner regardless, a role in which he's racked up 903 return yards and two touchdowns in 2024.

Impact Aubrey's longest field goal in Week 13 came from 33 yards out, the same length as an extra point. Even so, he appears to be back in rhythm after missing kicks in each of Dallas' prior two games. He'll be looking to keep it going when the Cowboys play host to the Bengals' dodgy defense in Week 14.

Jalen Tolbert - Nabs two catches Thursday Tolbert recorded two catches on four targets for 41 yards in Thursday's 27-20 Week 13 win against the Giants.
Impact Though he managed only two receptions, Tolbert finished second on the Cowboys in receiving yards thanks mostly to a 36-yard catch in the third quarter. He also logged the most offensive snaps (55, for a 72 percent snap share) among the team's wideouts. That was largely a result of CeeDee Lamb sitting out much of the third quarter and all of the fourth due to a shoulder injury. For the time being, there is optimism that Lamb won't have to miss any games due to the issue, but if the star wideout does end of being sidelined, Tolbert would likely ascend to the role of the Cowboys' No. 1 receiver.

He didn't play any snaps in the fourth quarter but may avoid additional missed time, benefitting from a 10-day gap between games. Lamb has yet to miss a game this season despite being listed on injury reports throughout November due to his shoulder/back/foot.

Impact Lamb took 97 percent of snaps in the first half, dropping to 60 percent in the third quarter and none at all in the fourth. The Cowboys listed him on their Week 13 injury report with back and foot injuries, neither of which was serious enough to warrant a game designation. Lamb went down clutching his right shoulder after a hard fall in the second half Thursday afternoon, less than a month after suffering an AC joint injury in the same shoulder during a loss to the Falcons on Nov. 3. Impact In his first game action since Week 4, Cooks didn't seem to be on the same page with QB Cooper Rush for large portions of this Week 13 divisional clash, but the two eventually connected for a two-yard touchdown on the Cowboys' first possession of the second half to extend the lead to 20-10. And with Dallas clinging to a 27-20 score at the two-minute warning of the fourth quarter, they again hooked up for a three-yard gain on third-and-2 to effectively salt the game away.
