Making progress on plantar fasciitis Correa's recovery from plantar fasciitis in his right foot is progressing ahead of his recovery from the same problem in his left foot last offseason, Twins president of baseball o...
Impact Correa was sidelined with plantar fasciitis in his right foot from just before the All-Star break on July 12 until Sept. 14. He was able to play 11 games in September where he showed little rust despite no minor league rehab games by hitting .325 with a .960 OPS. However, he was clearly not moving at full speed, so the rest and rehab in the offseason should have him ready for spring training. After struggling with plantar fasciitis in his left foot during the 2023 season that limited him at at the plate, the healthy of his feet will be something to watch in spring training.

Baseball agent Scott Boras: New Twins ownership should bring in a 'very refreshed view' The Pohlad family has the team up for sale, and Carlos Correa’s agent has some advice for whoever buys the team.

Resting Sunday Correa is not in Sunday's lineup against the Orioles.
Impact Correa also got Saturday's game off after the Twins were eliminated from the playoff picture. Brooks Lee will start at shortstop and bat third.
SEPTEMBER 29 • ROTOWIRE
Sitting down Saturday Correa isn't in the Twins' lineup for Saturday's game versus Baltimore.
Impact Correa will get a day off Saturday after slashing .316/.458/.474 with a homer and seven RBI over his last 10 games. Brooks Lee will take over as the Twins' shortstop and bat third in Correa's stead.

Plates four runs in loss Correa went 3-for-5 with four RBI in an extra-inning loss to the Guardians on Wednesday.
Impact All three of Correa's hits were singles, but they collectively resulted in three Twins runs. The shortstop added another RBI with a first-inning fielder's choice, so all four of Minnesota's runs came on plays off his bat. Correa has gone 5-for-10 with two walks in three contests since returning from the injured list Sept. 14.

Brayan Rocchio's game-winning single in 10th gives AL Central-leading Guardians a 5-4 win over Twins

Brayan Rocchio singled in Andrés Giménez with the winning run as the AL Central-leading Cleveland Guardians scored three times in the 10th inning to beat the Minnesota Twins 5-4

Out of Minnesota lineup Correa is not in the lineup for Tuesday's game in Cleveland.
Impact Correa has started every other game since returning from the injured list Saturday, as the Twins clearly don't want to overload him as he comes back from a two-month absence due to plantar fasciitis. Brooks Lee will be at shortstop Tuesday as Minnesota looks to even the series.
SEPTEMBER 17 • ROTOWIRE
On bench Sunday Correa is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Reds.
Impact The veteran shortstop went 1-for-2 with a double Saturday in his return from a two-month absence due to plantar fasciitis, and he'll head to the bench Sunday for the early-afternoon series finale. Correa didn't play in any rehab games prior to being reinstated from the injured list, so it won't be surprising if the Twins continue to get him regular rest days as he gets back up to speed.

All-Star shortstop Carlos Correa returns to help Twins in the stretch drive

For the second time in two days, the Minnesota Twins have reinstated one of their star players from the injured list to help with their playoff push
SEPTEMBER 14 • ASSOCIATED PRESS
Officially activated The Twins reinstated Correa (heel) from the 10-day injured list Saturday.
Impact Plantar fasciitis in Correa's right foot has kept him out of action since the All-Star break, but he began making significant progress in his recovery after beginning a new treatment earlier this month and has now been cleared to return to the active roster. The 29-year-old infielder didn't appear in any rehab games before being reinstated, so there's a chance he shows a bit of rust during his first several games back, but he still figures to remain productive after slashing .308/.377/.520 through 316 plate appearances prior to his injury. DaShawn Keirsey was optioned to Triple-A St. Paul in a corresponding move.
SEPTEMBER 14 • ROTOWIRE
Set to return Saturday Correa (plantar fasciitis) will be activated from the injured list before Saturday's game, Betsy Helfand of the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports.
Impact Correa has been taking live batting practice against minor league pitchers and working in the field the past few days. He's been sidelined since the All-Star break due to plantar fasciitis in his right foot. He'll likely return to starting at shortstop and may be rusty at the plate from his extended time off. However, it's a good sign for the Twins who could use a healthy Correa to ensure they make the playoffs and for the postseason.

Turning corner after new treatment Correa said Monday that he's "very encouraged" with his progress after beginning a new type of treatment for the plantar fasciitis in his right foot five days ago, Dan Hayes of The...
Impact Correa has sprinted three of the last four days and has come out of it feeling better than he has in a long time. The shortstop believes he could be ready to play in games soon, although there is no clear timetable for that yet. Correa has been sidelined since late July.
SEPTEMBER 9 • ROTOWIRE
Expects to retun this season Correa (heel) says he expects to play again this season but can't put a timetable on his return, Ken Rosenthal reports. Correa said over the weekend he felt the best he has runnin...
Impact There are no immediate plans for him to go on a rehab assignment, so he'll likely be out at least another week. While Correa is optimistic, he's running out of time to play in a rehab assignment and get ready for the final games of the regular season or playoffs.
SEPTEMBER 9 • ROTOWIRE
Ruled out through August Correa (heel) will not return from the 10-day injured list before the end of August, as he has not been able to run with cleats on or at full speed, Bobby Nightengale of the Minnes...
Impact On a positive note, Correa was able to run at about 80 percent intensity for 30 yards while wearing tennis shoes, so he at least looks to be taking a step in the right direction in his recovery from plantar fasciitis in his right foot. Correa was initially placed on the injured list over the All-Star break and was expected to be in line for an abbreviated absence, but he's now missed more than two months due to a lack of progress.
AUGUST 25 • ROTOWIRE
Will not return in August Correa (heel) will not return by the end of the month as he hasn't been able to run with spikes on or at full speed, but did run at 80% intensity for 30 yards in regular shoes befo...
Impact Correa was placed on the IL on July 20 due to right plantar fasciitis. The Twins weren't initially expecting him to miss much time, but Correa's return date keeps getting pushed back while he's continued to deal with soreness after running. He at least is making slow progress as he was able to increase his intensity Friday. He may not return until sometime in September as a result.
