Impact It was a rough day for Chiles and the Spartan offense as the sophomore quarterback threw for a season-low 150 yards while leading the Spartans to a blowout loss to Rutgers on senior night. Chiles did manage to find the end zone on the day, connecting with tight end Jack Velling on a five-yard score in the fourth quarter with the game well in hand. 2024 was a less-than-stellar debut season for Chiles and the Spartans and the talented sophomore threw for 2,415 yards and 13 touchdowns to 11 interceptions while adding 225 yards and three scores on the ground as well. With the team remaining ineligible for postseason play, Chiles will have to wait until the 2025 season for his next chance to suit up in the Green and White.
