2025 Super Bowl odds: Lions hold steady, Commanders surge

Updated Dec. 3, 2024 12:15 p.m. ET

For the third week in a row, the Detroit Lions have the shortest odds to win the Super Bowl.

After their Week 13, 23-20 win over the Bears, the Lions moved to +290 from +250.

On "Speak," co-host Keyshawn Johnson said that the Lions look like the best team in football.

"You look at just everything about them, from the coaching staff to the offense, defense, Jared Goff … across the board … it's kinda crazy.

What statement did Josh Allen’s Buffalo Bills make in their win over the San Francisco 49ers?

Second on the board is Philadelphia.

The Eagles' Super Bowl futures shortened to +475 from +650 after they defeated the Ravens 24-19.

"The Eagles are quietly emerging as a heavyweight contender with the rugged style and bully mentality needed to knock off the top teams in the NFC," FOX Sports NFL analyst Bucky Brooks wrote. "As the defense continues to grow into a disruptive force under the tutelage of Vic Fangio, the Eagles could vault to the top of the list as the most complete team in football."

Reigning champion Kansas City is third on the board, moving to +500 from +450 after barely escaping the Raiders, 19-17.

"The naysayers might call the Chiefs the luckiest team in the league, but it takes a champion's mindset (confidence, resilience and competitiveness) to win 14 straight one-score games," Brooks continued. "The Chiefs find various ways to get it done, and their unwavering belief (and clutch performances) will make them a tough out in the playoffs."

Do the Pittsburgh Steelers have an elite QB in Russell Wilson?

A team taking a huge tumble is Atlanta.

In the Falcons' Week 13, 17-13 loss to the Chargers, quarterback Kirk Cousins threw four interceptions, no touchdowns and was sacked once.

After that performance, Atlanta fell to +13000 from +8000.

The 49ers also saw their Super Bowl odds fall again.

They lost 35-10 to the Bills and moved to +15000 from +8000. To make matters worse, Christian McCaffrey suffered a PCL injury in the loss and is headed to IR.

The Commanders, on the other hand, saw their odds surge to +6500 from +8000 after defeating the Titans 42-19.

Other shifts include the Steelers moving to +2500 from +3000 and the Ravens dropping to +1200 from +750.
