This past week was not UConn's week.
The Huskies suffered three consecutive defeats at The Maui Invitational, and their national title odds dropped from +1000 to +2000, going from second on the oddsboard to eighth.
A program has not three-peated since John Wooden's UCLA Bruins won six in a row from 1967 to 1973.
Since then, programs that have won two titles in a row include Duke (91-92), Florida (06-07), and the aforementioned UConn (23-24).
